If you have played RE5 before and are planning on playing it in solo again in the future, I highly encourage you to download this mod because I see it as the single most essential mod to enjoy RE5 while playing solo. With this mod, RE5 became the sequel to RE4 that I've always wanted. I replayed RE5 again with this mod recently and the game went from a 7/10 to a 10/10 (in single player), that's how game changing it is. So what this does is that it allows me to finally be able to focus on the enemies only, and because the HUD for the AI partner is not there anymore, I was able to forget my partner was even there next to me a lot of the times. This mod makes the AI partner invisible and invincible, making the partner silent in gameplay, along with hiding its HUD away. I never liked it, and it ruins any replay value for me, which for a game like RE5, is not good, because RE5 has a lot of content and satisfying gameplay that encourages a lot of repeat playthroughs.Įnter Alone in Africa. Instead of focusing on the enemies and fighting against the odds, I have to divert my attention to the dumbass AI partner and waste so much of my healing supplies and patience just so I wouldn't get a game over. I won't be talking about the co op stuff though, because I know if I had a friend to play with in this game, all of my issues with the AI would be non existent. But one single thing holds the gameplay back significantly for me, and that's the AI and the constant baby sitting I have to do.
